What the tool is — and what may not be done with it.

Access is restricted to contracting organisations. The commercial contract prevails over this page in any divergence; what is here is the limit of use that applies to everyone.

The nature of the outputs

The tool produces hypotheses about situations — mechanisms that may sustain a behaviour observed in a team — accompanied by an ordinal grade of support and by the grade of scientific evidence for the suggested intervention.

The outputs are not a psychological diagnosis, a performance assessment, a clinical opinion, an expert report or legal advice. They do not replace the conversation with the team, nor do they transfer to the tool the responsibility for the decision to intervene — which remains with whoever manages.

Prohibited uses

  • Using any output to evaluate, promote, discipline or dismiss a person
  • Entering an individual's name as a situation label, or working around it with a nickname
  • Entering sensitive personal data about third parties in the free description
  • Using the tool to monitor people or reconstruct individual behaviour
  • Sharing access credentials between users
  • Presenting hypotheses as measured conclusions, with a percentage or score
  • Extracting the base of mechanisms, grades or interventions for a derivative product
  • Submitting information under commercial or legal confidentiality that the contract does not allow

Access, content and availability

Access

Granted by the contracting organisation and revocable by it at any time. There is no open sign-up and no personal use outside a contract.

Client content

The text and results of sessions belong to the contracting organisation. The processor handles them solely to deliver the service, in accordance with the privacy policy.

Methodological base

The mechanisms, evidence grades and intervention cards belong to The Biased Brain Co.. The changelog is public precisely so the method can be checked — publishing the method is not a licence to reuse it.
